Welcome to EA Reviews. The reason for this site is plain and simple. I am personally convinced that a properly programmed expert advisor (or robot) can trade the Forex market just as well, if not better, than I can trade it manually. Thus I am on a quest to find the very best of the available expert advisors, the ones that actually make money. It seems there is a new bot being introduced just about every week. A lof of them are junk, quite frankly. They are optimized to work only on a specific year of backtest data or are based on a risky methodology that is sure to blow up your account sooner rather than later. We want to weed out the bad ones and keep only the best.
I have a good friend who specializes in “set and forget” manual trading systems. He kindly showed me the many advantages of being able to set up stop and limit orders on your trading platform and then just walk away from the market to let it do its thing. One of the primary benefits of this is that it completely removes human emotion from the trading equation, something that gets even the best traders in trouble from time to time. Well, I am convinced that the ultimate set and forget trading system is one which is directed by a robot. With an intelligent trading robot at the helm, you don’t even have to set up the orders each day.
Imagine having a trading partner that sits at the terminal 24 hours a day for the entire trading week, watching as many currencies as you wish and trading any methodology you desire. He doesn’t get tired, he doesn’t complain, and he doesn’t want to be paid. He doesn’t even have to risk missing a trade while on a bathroom break. And as the beginning of the next week rolls around, he’s ready to do it all again. Meanwhile, you are free to do the things that are really important — spend time with your family and enjoy life’s many other worthwhile pursuits. Does that sound better than staring at a computer screen for hours on end and biting your fingernails hoping a certain pair is going to go up or down x number of pips? It sure does to me!
As the journey begins, we already have several EAs that look very promising. Our current recommended expert advisors will always be shown on the right side of the pages on the site. These and others will be thoroughly reviewed and back and forward tested. If they make the grade, I will then proceed to put real money on them and see where they take me.
