Well, it was the worst week by far for our Euro-Blaster demo account. Only two trades were completed on the FXDD account. Part of the reason there were no more trades than that was because the robot is stuck with five other open positions at the moment. (four of these were opened on Wednesday). Even worse, four of them are a mere 94 pips from hitting our 500-pip stoploss. At one point today they were only about 45 pips away. Currently the account is in drawdown over $2,000, or almost 60% of our equity high. Not too encouraging given that this is only our third week to run the EA. We’ll need the pair to make a quick and steep drop on Monday to salvage these trades (and the account).

The other forward demo (belonging to Patrick) that we are monitoring and have listed on the Results page did quite a bit better. It completed 15 profitable trades for over $400 in profit. However, it also went into the weekend with two positions open and a drawdown of almost $700 on a $6,000 account.

I did some extensive backtesting over the last couple of days. I will post those results sometime this weekend. Stay tuned.
