Well, I’m not exactly sure why, but this week I have had only one Euro-Blaster trade thus far on my FXDD demo account. I’m a bit perplexed by this, but it may have something to do with my running multiple copies of MT4 concurrently. That’s just a guess, though. Up until a few minutes ago, I had demos running for FXDD, FXCM and Alpari on one of my VPS accounts. I had changed the magic number for each instance, but I don’t think that should have mattered anyway since in each case, the EA was only running once on each instance of MT4. Last week I had ample trades with FXDD. So I have reluctantly removed the FXCM and Alpari demos to see if I can get the FXDD demo trading again. At this point I don’t know if it is something within the EA itself that would prevent it from taking trades when there are other instances running or if I have overloaded my VPS account. I will assume it is the latter and see what happens for the rest of the week.
I do have one other VPS account on which I only have a Ikon Royal demo running at the moment. It has taken two positive trades this week, which would again indicate that the issue might be one of overloading a VPS. If that is the case, it is too bad, as I was hoping to see which broker was best for this EA. It looks like that will take a lot longer to discern now. If anyone else wants to share their MT4 account statements from another broker, I would love to post them on the Results page for all to see.
