week2As I documented earlier, my demo accounts got off to a slow start this week. Though it is not unusual for Euro-Blaster to not take trades for one or more days on occasion, I knew for a fact that other people were getting trades. So I still believe this was due primarily to me loading up too many instances of the EA on the same VPS account. When I removed the extra accounts, trades started happening almost immediately. In any event, things didn’t really get going until late Tuesday and into Wednesday.

This week my FXDD demo took 11 trades, all closing in profit, for a total gain of $200.48 or +6.0%. That’s not quite as good as last week, but if I could get +6.0% week in and week out, I would take it in a New York minute. After two weeks the FXDD account is now up $567.42 or +18.9%. It has won 27 trades in a row. That’s pretty impressive.

In its first week, the Ikon Royal account (which is using the same settings as the FXDD account), had 10 completed trades, all positive, for a gain of $162.99, or +5.5%. However, on this account, the EA opened five positions on Friday afternoon that immediately went against it, and together those trades are down $276.30. Thus the equity on the account is down $113.31 from the beginning of the week. Hopefully these trades will be able to recover early next week. Probabilities indicate it will do so.
