More details have begun to surface regarding the EA package that the Forex Robot World Cup has put together and will be offering for sale on February 16 (just 4 days away).
First, they have named the package “Royal Trader”. I’m not sure what the inspiration behind the name was, but at least it wasn’t “Forex Assassin,” “Forex Avenger,” “Forex Killer,” etc., if you know what I mean.
Second, the leaked price is $999. I contacted the FRWC, but they wouldn’t affirm or deny this and said we would have to just wait until launch day to find out for sure. I’ll admit that my first reaction to that price was, “ouch.” That’s a pretty steep price for even three good EAs. But then again, if these robots work as they did during the live account testing phase, that price is an absolute steal. Consider this. Investing just $1,000 in the HiRIDER EA would enable you to recoup your money in just two and a half months — and everything after that is pure profit. If the LMD-Multicurrency robot continues its hot streak, investing $1,000 in that EA would recoup your money in about one and a half months. So while the cost of entry seems high, you have to bear in mind that you’re buying several EAs that have been proven to work in a live trading account. I don’t have to tell you how valuable that is!
Third, the Royal Trader package will include the top five to seven robots from the Forex Robot World Cup. Each will be able to be downloaded in the member’s section, and each will include hacker-resistant features to make certain that only paying users will be able to use it, keeping the robots exclusive to FRWC clients.
Fourth, the FRWC has quite a few nice things planned for the member’s area: contact information for email, ticket-based and telephone support, a knowledgebase, frequent live webinars, special guest interviews, an EA Lab and more. I don’t know if all of these will be available on launch day or if they will be added over time.
Fifth, the FRWC is working with FXCM to provide some kind of special bonus only to FRWC clients. I chatted with FXCM-UK the other day, and they verified that they have been working with the FRWC and that there is such a special deal. Details forthcoming on launch day!

Oops , no one will buy even if you price this at 99 forget 999.00
FRWC guys have done a good show, with right handeling .. but the price which they are asking is too steep, no doubt they have to reduce the price later to get back thier money.

Hi, Satish. So you wouldn’t pay $999 for a robot that could give you 20-40% returns on your money per month? Hmmm… I would do it in a heartbeat, as you would make your investment back in very little time and then the rest is pure profit. Now, can any of these winning robots actually produce that well in real life? Well, that remains to be seen. We plan to find out! Best wishes to you, my friend. Thanks for stopping by the blog.
Thanks for putting the demo up here on all the FRWC robots, the 1st day doesnt look that impresive for the winner yes I know its early days but if Id forked out that money and slappeed $1000 in and seen it go down that much in a day would you not be worried too?
Hi, Phil. Yes, the LMD Multicurrency robot hasn’t looked too good right out of the gate. But I knew going in that it was a very volatile EA, which is why I said early on that I thought the HiRIDER was the best of the bunch. Bear in mind that LMD had a large drawdown during the competition (over 30%), so I think it is far too early to panic or write it off. Secondly, I am not “worried” because the $1,000 that I slapped on LMD is demo money. That, of course, is why you run forward demos. I am also not worried because if FRWC turns out to be a big bust, I still have 59 more days to get my money back. So I am content to just sit back and see whether these bots can live up to their reputation. If they can’t, I am no worse for the wear.
